your checking if a switch is working? Try putting the meter on the "short testing mode" (the diode symbol, i.e little black triangle in at 5 o clock position) and see if the switch shorts the correct parts. It should beep if the two parts are shorted.

When I was going at 50 mph, the temperature was normal. But I stop at the light, it read overheated. Is it the cooling fan switch problem?

the first thing you should do is pull the thermostat. it's probably shot now anyway. when you replace it replace it with one of the new kind that fail open. that's a really good thing because the normal kind fail closed and cause your car to overheat. what gave you the idea that the cooling fan switch might be the problem?

Do you know that your fan isn't working?
Have you just let the car idle until the car overheats?

Hopefully the switch is fine, I personally dont know where that is controlled in the car. I have a 94 gsr and I've done just about everything you can think of to it as far as fixing, tinkering and rebuilding.

The thermostat is a pain to get at in the B18C1. I'm assuming that the other integra models are the same.

If you want to check your fan motor, just connect it directly to the battery. If you find out that the switch really is bad, let me know. I'll check my Helm's manual for you to find out the easiest way to fix it.
