damn look at this 20k markup on a lancer evo8

notice how at the top of the sticker it says: Mitsubishi "wake up and drive". I'm guessing anybody thinking of buying that car is pretty wide awake because I imagine it's pretty hard to sleep while your holding your ankles:p

It would be a heck of a lot cheaper to convert a Japanese spec Evo and bring it to the states. Is that a Photochop?

Makes me wonder what the markup is going to be on the STi when it comes over here.

Yeah the MSRP of the Evo and STi are within the Rx-8's price range, but as we see with low voume, cult following cars, that gap widens quite fast.

Is that dealer nuts? Capital Mitsubishi (per the dealer markup tag) should be ashamed of themselves. I wonder if anyone has reported that to Mitsubishi NA? Mitsu NA has been struggling to gain marketshare, and that would certainly alienate some customers.

I hope that Mazda dealers don't feel this is appropriate for the RX8. Thia may be the method of sales for all low volume, highly anticipated vehicles in the future at time of release. I hope not.

For that cost one could almost get 2 base w/o options RX-8s. I find that rather interesting, but more so if somebody actually pays that much...
