I'm looking at getting a RX-8 next year about Sept. (my wife turns the big 50, I'm there already)! So I'll be lurking for 1 1/2 years before getting a GREEN ONE!! I had a couple RX-2's in the early 70's so I know a little about the rotary engine, all the kids are out of the house, I should be finishing up my addition in Port Angeles WA. by the end of this year (I'm doing it myself).

Welcome and how can you wait that long for an 8? Good luck. I test drove mine and kept telling myself that I was going to get my wife her car first... 1 1/2 months later I was driving my new 8 home (it took like 3 1/2 weeks to arrive at the dealership). You'll learn a lot from this site.

Well being a old guy that I am, I not even going to drive one untl next summer, then who knows what well happen. Thanks for the green pics.

You can change the background. Just go into the User/CP section up top, and then to Edit Options. Down towards the bottom there is a line labled Style Set. You can change it there.

I'm also new to all this. Having no rx8 yet, we had a 3rd gen rx7. Icemastr wants to get another 7, but I really want an 8 for myself. ;)

You may want to get a green one now. They are getting rather hard to find. The dealers i my area do not keep many around. They may drop the color for 05
