It's only 10 bucks in Circuit City now...

Evanescence..

Not sure if you guys heard of them, but their CD was released maybe two or three days ago (their first), and it's a DAMN good CD. I don't buy CDs unless the band is exceptional, and I bought this CD.

Last two CDs I bought were both Coldplay, if that gives you an idea of the type of music I like.

Thanks Hercules- I meant to go buy that as soon as it was out. It'll be the first CD I've bought in I don't know how long...

And if you like Evanescence, you might like a band called Lacuna Coil as well. I haven't been able to locate their cds in any stores as of yet, but Amazon has them and you can always find a few singles on WinMX.

I heard two of their tracks on the Daredevil soundtrack I bought.

Thought they were very good.

Will buy their album when it comes out here.

Also the rest of the Daredevil soundtrack is very good.

Couldn't agree more.
I love their cover to Depeche Mode's song Enjoy The Silence.

Definitely check out Lacuna Coil instead. Much better group... no whining and the female vocalist is HOT! Their best seller, Comalies rocks. Track #2, Heaven's a Lie is what launched them internationally. Their newest one, Kharmacode is also good.

I second the motion that Lacuna Coil is much better.
In This Moment is also a pretty decent band with a female vocalist.

Love lacuna coil... got comalies a few years back and loved it. Better band by far in my opinion.

No dude I am Turkish

I think he might have been asking why you found this thread in the first place... were you searching the forum for "turkish"?

I know that, I'm stating you did a search for the word "turkish" on RX8CLUB.COM and found this thread, then found the post stating the word turkish, then posted a reply to it.

lacuna coil is awesome...however they aren't as good in concert as they are in studio. They get obsessed with headbanging on stage and its mildly awkward.

Within Temptation is also a great female vocal "metal" band, the Silent Force is a strong album.
