This might be lounge material, but who knows. I had this dream last night that my 8 wouldnt start. It was flooded and no matter how hard I tried to start it with the emergency start procedure, it wouldn't start.

I've never flooded my 8, and I've never had any real problems with it. Maybe I'm just driving it too much and I need to take a break... or maybe I should've gotten up right then and there and gone driving.

Either way, it was the scariest dream I've had in a long time :b

 

I had one of those last week, even though I've never had a hint of trouble that the car wasn't going to start. I was really pissed off about the whole thing, but then I woke up.

 

You guys got me so scared of flooding.....

When i went to test drive the car.... I had to throw it into reverse and and it stalled.... tried it again and it stalled... I was thinking, "what the hell is wrong with me". Then the sales person told me you had to push the shifter down and THEN engage reverse. So I guess I kept hitting 6th when trying to reverse "ahh the info up front would have helped". so I start it up and it wouldn't start....and in my head i was like "OH NO...FLOOD?????...NO NO NO NO". Then the sales person told me the battery is just dead as he had to charge it just to drive it up to me. I was like ~phew~. So they charged it...threw it into reverse and took off.... man the 8 is such a simple car to drive. I saw threads on how its a little tempermental, but I had absolutely no problems with it.... it only took me 5 seconds to feel at home in it.

 

Nope, never. I don't worry about that at all.

I've backed my car out of the garage with a stone cold engine, moved it 10 feet and shut it off many times.

 

Once I had that dream, never have had a problem though.

I flooded my car....

I attatched my CZ wrong and tried to crank it up.. it wouldn't fire up..

So I attatched it back..

And it still wouldn't fire up.. I just kept cranking and finally it fired up.

This was no dream..

The car smelled like I had bathed it with gas.

 

dude..

i realize my car is sexy, but you shouldnt be dreaming about her! That's my job.

 

Bump. I had the dream last night.

Surprised, to see other people have done this. A few weeks ago, I also dreamt that a valet flooded my car although I never ever use the valet. :o I don't really care because it's already flooded once and I don't think it will happen again but what happened to the "you are a prince and have to tend to your harem" dreams?

 

I can't believe it. The first week I had my RX8 I dreamt that it wouldn't start in the driveway and then I dreamed that I had a wreck in it. I think I worry about IT too much.
