I am interested in getting these rims. Volk LE37 T... they are 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. They come with the NITTO NT555 235-40ZR18 FRONTS AND 275-35ZR18 REAR.

I've read on threads that staggered wheels will throw off the handling of the car. Also, will these 275-35zr18 rear tires STICK OUT of the rear wheel base? Will i have any problems with these? Are they too big??

I don't participate in autocrosses or any races... but i do "race" my friends in the 1/4mi once in awhile... WIll this benefit? The rims look very nice, but i'm wondering if they are too big.. and won't fit... or will stick out...?

Offsets?Im running 275/30/19s on a 42 and they dont stick out at all.

I have that exact setup and it works fine....

You should be fine. I have the same wheels 19x8.5+43/ 19x9.5+45 and they don't stick out past the wheels wells. I'm running 245//35/19 F and 285/35/19 R. Give me a ring if you need any help getting the wheels.
