In my ventures today in trying to find the Car and Driver April issue, I found this mag and the RX-8 was on the cover. They do bring up one interesting point that I hadn't thought about before.
"One area that could be addressed with the back doors, however, is an emergency release. Presently, they can only be opened in conjunction with the opening of the front doors. Should both front-seat passengers be knocked unconscious in a crash, that could be a problem."
I see their point, but mazda had to not let them open with out the front doors opening first because of a law in the UK (I think, correct me if I'm wrong please). And also you have that same problem in a 2-door sport coupe with rear seats. So damn you if you sit in my new RX-8 and I get in a wreak :D
