anyone else get an insurance rate increase?

hmm, I won't know myself until june/july. Right now I pay about $1,2xx for insurance on a damn cheap azz 6 year old civic. And I ain't no teenager anymore!!:mad: California lawmakers are idiots.

i know in dallas insurance goes by your zip code..is it the same way in Cali?

i'm pretty sure that's how they determine insurance for most places, by zip code. guess it pays to live in expensive areas.

apprently, california issued it's first insurance rate increase since 1989, meaning that every person's insurance in california this year goes up. mine went up $100, was $491, now it's $600. I'm on my own insurance, 22 years old, driving a 2000 ford ranger. just wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing. hate paying for insurance to begin with, now this shit...
