not really a big deal, but i think it adds a LOT of character to the rims....really brings out the mazda symbol and gives some color to the all silver rims...


plus with the black caliper and rotor center...i like the overall effect...and for the price (free if you consider i had the paint already)

thanks to whoever it was that did the red ones for posting pics and getting me to do it. i wanted to all along but wasnt sure about how it would really look

I think it looks great (IMHO) and will be doing mine soon also. Saw the red one as you mentioned.

I Like It; It adds alittle "Something" to the car.

I have been looking for black wheel centers for my 8. Considered buying the RX8 logo one but gagged on the price for four of them. This is a great alternative if I can avoid messing up the centers trying to paint only the non-mazda logo part.

No it really is black, it is called Ceramic-Tint. It has the best heat rejection for hot Vegas. Kind of expensive $350 for all the windows.
