As you may be aware the MazdaSpeed front bumper has a large grill covering the central air duct. This grill is secured using metal "fingers" that wrap around the grill wire.

These fasteners can come off.

I checked my car the other day and found the bottom fasteners were detached, leaving the grill swinging loosely by the upper fasteners. I don't know what caused this but can speculate that any moderate impact at speed will do the same thing.

I suggest you check your grills to verify they are secured. At first opportunity remove the bumper and use zip ties to make them even more secure.
