summer is coming out thinking of getting a tint for the car. what do u a think of this blue tint. And does anyone knows if is legal in texas..........? :cool:

black tint goes with everything because of the black already surrounding your windows.

the blue doesn't look very good, tacky imo.

Its legal in Texas as long as its 35%--I personally don't like it; try a nice lumar mirror tint or something.

I think it works as long as the blue is not too intense (i.e. not darker than the body).

i very like that, i had mine done about 3 month ago, no one say anything to me, but the tint that is on my car is yellow, b/c my car is yellow too, i've been looking for that bule tint, b/c my girl friend have a yellow evo-8, and that is what she wants, may i ask where u got it from?

I like the idea of blue tint.... here in Ohio we are only legally allowed to go 50% *bleah* so if I get my 8 tinted *when I finally can get one* I am seriously concidering a blue tint.. I think it looks good in your photochop.....

any one knows where I can get this tint went two 2 shops here in san antonio, tx. they didnt carried. they told me that it might be illegal. any one knows the # for dps....

I think blue might be the exception for colored tinting...I like it! Fairly subtle actually, make people do a double take. And if you like it, more power too you.

I've actually seen some of the newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles come with light blue window tint from the factory. As far as I know, it's legal in California.
But you might want to consider if it would bother you (or even make you dizzy) seeing a blue world whenever you look out from inside your car...

In Vegas, damn near anything is legal, except blue.
