Just got a phone call from my dealer after he apparently spoke to Mazda.

Leather option - this is leather only, no heating, no power no lumber

New brochure - being sent out directly to those who registerred on the Mazda site, not the dealers.

Metallic/ Micra option - On the vel red the car comes with micra automatically and therefore the micra option has to be paid for. Same for silver and tit grey, get metallic and have to pay. If one wants a base colour ie no micra or metallic then it has to be black. I see this as no option.

Opinions and info please.

I think it is 'Mica' - not 'Micra'.....

Hmmm, so the brochures are wrong, and the dealer poorly informed.

When are Mazda going to let us know exactly what it is that we've bought ?

Surely someone must have decided the precise spec by now.

 

Well I have ordered the leather on the basis that it also comes with power, heated and lumbar.

The web site clearly states this is what you get for your £1200. Leather on its own I would expect to be well under £1000.

If it doesnt, I will expect some significant compensation!

I lost my willpower and went to the dealer today to check the order was clear before tomorrow.
The way some of the dealers sound I would have turned up in August to collect a Red RX-8, and got a pink Mazda Demio!
