I've booked my 1st RX8 trial for next week, and I fear (!) I will love it. I mean, I've been waiting for the car forever now, or at least it feels that way, I like the styling, if I get some Shell/Total stock i'll be fine with mpg, I only need to settle on the color mix (red/red or blue/black?).

But, I do also happen to have kind of a life when I step out of the car, and one of my favorite activities is windsurfing.
I haven't seen roof bars in the accessories list. Anybody has an idea/solution?
I sure don't wanna keep my current car, getting rid of it is part of the point. Do I have to chop off a caravan in 2 and transform it in a windurfing trailer to drag behind the 8?

lots of after market stuff will do that just fine.. they mount with sutchion cups and strap downs

i regularly strap my surfboard onto my rx8 and head to the beach. it looks a little funny but it gets the job done. i use soft racks - they're like 30bucks at any surf shop.

Check out www.yakima.com. They now have fit info for the RX-8. Let me know if you have any questions. I sell lots of roof racks at a bike shop.
