ive actually had a very hard time naming this one, but i think ive finally decided on norah (my other cars have been named after musicians.) how many others have named their baby?

I'm thinking about Vader (like Darth, or E-Vader).... not sure though... need a good name for a black car, my last black car was called "snowy 16" by a friend as a joke and it stuck.... I just don't want this one to end up being "snowy 17".... :mad:

i dunno i think a car deserves a name, they almost have a soul. Especially this car. I need to think of a name that personifies beauty, grace, and excitement all in one.

My rx-8 is actually called 'the new car', and the mustang is 'the crappy old car', or sometimes 'the old car'

Mine is "my car", my partner's is "your car", and my truck is "the truck". I've never been one for naming vehicles.

ELVIRA, mistress of the black! This is the first car I ever considered giving a name. And Elvira fits for so many reasons:D Now if we only knew how to re-program the startup display;)

hopefully i will be picking up my 8 today or tomorow, but i have already thought about what im going to name her, at first i thought i would name her bessy III, since my maxima is bessy and my schecter guitar is bessy II. but than i opted to find something more unique so im gonna name her Nyx, which is a girls name meaing blonde in latin, btw its a yellow 8 :)

Just decided to name my Blue 8 Dora:) from the movie Finding Nemo. Is that Lame?

My car's name is 'Rex'.

My girlfriend says it looks like an angry badger, so I had thought about Badger, but Rex won.

A badger? Hmmm. OK. But, I've seen floppy-eared bunny rabbits out of a few head-on pix. The rotary symbols in the seats, thru the windshield are the eyes, the front cowling is of course, the mouth... :D With the addition of the RX-8 logo in the cowling, that's the two front teeth.

People call it a chik magnet. I have to agree with them. I haven't even installed the lamborghini doors yet and already walking up to the vehicle at night, chix are screamin!

I've always named my cars - I think personifying my things helps me put in that little extra care and attention. So...I named my baby Sophie....Sexy Sophie....I like how she growls...oh wait, maybe she whines?

I named mine Samantha.

The first time my daughter saw my black 8 she said it looked like the Batmobile. So the name is Bruce (Wayne) aka Batman.

I just call it "the 8" but my friends call it the "Rotary Rocket" and "Defender" for some reason he think it looks like the car in that old show VIPER when it changed into the Defender. I dunno...
