Pretty sad that it is all over- I really liked the, "give each of them half of a medallion" thing. Frasier next week- Ramond soon. Will sitcoms make a comeback or has reality t.v. ruined the art/market>?

I've seen like 5 episodes of friends. Sitcoms were dead since married with children went off the air.

I actually never watched it too much either- but have caught enough of them to know what was going on. Sad nonetheless! Millionaire has ruined television! it was the first reality show- came on, then was on every freaking night of the week! all the rest soon followed. I have vowed to not watch another reality show-BUT I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF FRASIER'S!

Frasier was good, but it's over too, isn't it? :(

I was never a fan of Friends - I never thought it was funny....jokes seemed forced.

Married With Children...now you're talking!

yeah frasier is over as well -:( did you know kelsey grammar (sp>?) has played that character over 20 years! since it (Frasier the character) was first on Cheers originally!

My wife is/was a Friend's addict. I didn't watch it much. I can't wait until reality shows are gone. I refuse to watch them.

I haven't watched Friends since college- it wasn't funny- just overhyped. Sitcoms come and go- there'll always be a new one that's even "funnier" than the one before it.

I always loved Seinfelds humor! Sad that he ended his show. He had such a sick humor! We saw him live last year, and his humor is relative to Robin Williams! It was one of the BEST shows I've ever seen. Another GREAT small-time comic we've seen is Eddie Gossling.

Did you ever see his movie "Comedian"???? I love that movie and I love him- he is a genius!

Seinfeld really is a genius! He was at a VERY large auditorium here in Chattanooga, and some ladies were going crazy over him on the first row. He deviated from his 'routine' and just spun off some hilarious things! He can just come up with stuff on-the-fly, just like Robin Williams!
Eddie Gossling was comparative to these (2) legends! I laughed/cried for an hour STRAIGHT! He had some of his material on his web-site, but I think he had a problem with people ripping off his material. He doesn't perform many dates but is WELL worth the drive! Go see him if he gets close to you, or call your local club and request him! His site: http://www.comeddie.com

I've never seen Sienfeld live.. However, I didn't really like his show. He's kind of dry. I love going to stand up comedian shows.. they always improvise well. Having taken a few acting and improv classes, I can tell you it's not easy!!

I love Robin Williams.. he's funny. I love his movie "the World According to Garp" What's with him playing psycho bad guys now??

I thought the Drew Carey show was funny too.

How about the Simpsons??? Now there's sick, twisted, genious comedy...

I watched friends when it came out back in 94/95... it was a good show then, but I deviated from sitcoms 5 years ago... the only TV I watch is TLC, Discovery, and HBO.

well,............. like andy warhol said- "someday, everyone will have their 15 minutes"- that is exactly what reality t.v. is- everyone's 15 minutes.

Jon liked/s Friends but I despised it. Real shows are CSI and Without a Trace. I don't budge of the couch on Thursday nights (Hint, hint. If you want to talk bad about me... that's the night. SEE!? I wasn't on last night :D Told you Big D, I actually leave sometimes! )
Just like xystas wrote, I like the Discovery, History Channel, etc. best.

Golly gee, you distracted me and made me forget to put another 'f' after of, where it would read: OFF the couch.
You make my head hurt! Are you cheating on me? I know my sister is prettier!

(Is that more female-ish?? :D ) j/k

Seinfeld was the only sitcom I ever cared for. The thing that annoys me about sitcoms is all the fake laughter in the background...it drives me nuts.

I just started watching Friends regularly with this season although I have seen the odd show from other seasons - not bad. Always hated everyone except in it Joey and Chandler.

Anyway my Tivo cut off the last few minutes of the LAST show yesterday. I watched until Ross (who I really detest) is listening to his voicemail with Rachel saying she wants to get off the plane. Then she is at his doorway and it stops before she says anything (maybe asking him to stop stalking her?).

Who can tell me what happened next? Better yet who can make up some really funny stuff after that point that I might believe... maybe a few scenarios and I will choose what seems most likely.

Rachel tells him that she is pregnant with chandler's baby and that is why she HAS to leave! Also, Joey ends up accidently pushing phoebe off the balcony and that is why his new show is in florida cause he is running from the law

What do you mean, "Are sitcoms dead?" We still have Scrubs. That show is way funnier than Friends. Friends was tired and all our 20 somethings were becoming 30 somethings. In fact it was turning into a really immature version of the 80's tv drama 30 something.

she stabs Ross to death with one of his dinosaurs...I think it was T-Rex. He makes this funny gurgling sound as he falls man it was hilarious.

Keep them coming...

SCRUBS is one of my favorite shows, right behind South Park.

you can definately tell that SCRUBS is a program that was developed by and for individuals with A.D.D.

the constant changing of direction and attention is awesome!

South Park is simply untouchable. No other sitcom or program on TV can accomplish in 30 minutes what they can - not even, dare i say "The Simpsons"! - there, i said it! South Park is better than the Simpsons!

Futurama is way better than South Park or The Simpsons, but all three were great in their prime.

Also, I was watching the last Friends with my Tivo (I started watching it about 10 minutes later, so I could fast forward thru the commercials) and also noticed that the show went on ~3 minutes past the normal recording time.

It makes me wonder if they did that to punish anyone using Tivo.

actually I got a message from Tivo mentioning this. Friends has been doing this for the whole season to the frustration of Tivo owners everywhere.

yo DjGo

I went to a filming of whos line a couple years back.. and the greatest thing is that for 5 hours straight I was laughing my head off. These guys are non stop funny. i mean the whole taping was like watching the guys just goofing off with drew carey just giving a small impetus. Seriously a great show
