View Full Version : How has the lounge changed your life?
hotpot 05-06-2004, 01:36 AM I went to a concert last night (Senegalese artist Ismael Lo), and after the concert I asked my friends to come over to my place for tequillas.
They were like, huh?
So I told them it's Cinqo de Mayo.
They were like, WTF is that?
So I told explained to them what I've learnt in the lounge about it.
They were like, WTF is going on with you?
Yes, the Lounge has changed me. My friends can't relate to me anymore.
How about you?

Dude, do you live on a tropical island or something? I thought everyone knew about cinco de mayo...
Speed-ER doc 05-06-2004, 02:35 AM I used to wear clothes and go outside.
jk :D
Really, I guess I read the newspaper and magazines less than before. I used to read the paper very thoroughly every day plus 4 car mags each month, now they get skimmed.

I never rush my patients for anything. I may take a while to get to you, but once I see you, you are going to be taken care of very well. Sort of like Jose. (http://www.townhall.com/columnists/neilcavuto/nc20040501.shtml) That's me, Jose.
I usually don't surf much in the ER, too busy. And I'm married, I get laid whenever I want. But us nightshift guys have to plan ahead more. :D
RenesisRotary 05-06-2004, 06:55 AM If you guys like this Lounge..(Off topic) forum..you should check out www.offtopic.net ...or www.celica.net ..their message boards have a hilarious OT forum..

The sun! It hurts Claudius. Must stay inside in lovely dark, surf web, and irritate Doc.
Actually, I still read a lot of magazines and newspapers (though my skim rate has gone up). My book consumption has dropped, though, and I'm reading too damn many of those political books these days when I do manage to find the time to pick one up (see "irritating Doc," above). For a guy with a neat car I spend way too much time on the internet in general, and in the lounge in particular. I have an occasional fantasy in which I get rid of Roadrunner, stop surfing, and reclaim my life. But I guess this is my life.
