My dealer contacted me today and advised that they had been contacted by fax or e-mail providing more info including;

- Mazda will roll-out firm ordering process on 28th Feb

- Minumum order will be £1000 and lodged with Mazda (via dealer)

- Mazda will require full spec order (although cut off time not known)

My dealership will be visited by a Mazda rep on Monday so hopefully I would know more thereafter.

My point made was that how can I fully spec my order without knowing full options and see actual colours. Dealer understood and presumed that Mazda would sort that out.

My dealer has told me he will be placing all his orders directly onto their internal ordering system on February 28th (day of web site launch). He needs to know colours/options for then.

He is chasing Mazda for details literature etc before this date.

I have asked if any samples/swatches of Velocity Red will be available so I can actually see the colour Im ordering. Im sure he will do his best and Ill keep you all posted.

I think my dealer wants to do the same but he agrees that Mazda should be providing better information for us to firm up. No idea if this will happen. Hope fully I will get better clarity later

Worse case is that those unsure will all have to take a colour punt and then not take up the order at a later date. This will mean your new order will go to the back of the queue.
