I was interested in the amount of interest their was in starting an RX-8 club in the DFW area.... it seems like we have alot of DFW owners that have to travel to Houston/Austin to meet.

The only 8's I've seen was a Winning Blue going down Preston (Guy Mid 20's) and a Yellow with dark tint cruising North on 75... (Guy 30's-40s w/wife)

Well, Im in Richardson....and I will try convince the wife to show up on Sunday (not promising anything...) - But it would definitely be interesting to meet up with other 8 owners.

I've seen a ton of 8s on my way to work (G.Bush, Arapaho, Plano Rd, International Pky, etc....) - just in case, if you see a dirty VR 6MT somewhere, don't spit on it! I'll wash it..promise.

I'm supposed to be picking mine up on Friday. I'll try to make the BD's meet. I've probably waved at ALL of you from a white miata sometime in the last year!

If you dont want to take the turnpike, you can also take 121 North (east) all the way to 75 but it'll be much slower.

It's under construction but it's useable (and pretty) enough to open up to the public so at least you can get to the forums (as that's actually the only working link right now).

This is off topic but I think interesting. Have any of you in the North Dallas area seen a hot dark haired girl driving around in a black supra? I have seen this girl twice in the last week and I may or may not be in love. Eh I posted in the General Forums, theyre totalling it out for 28k so I'm trying to figure out a way to make up that difference some how.

I may pay the salvage depending on how much it is and try and make up some of the diff by selling the remainder of my parts. (Leather seats, anyone? ;))

If you can pull the 6 disc changer out how much would you want for it?

And if its possible to remove all of the Nav system components I might try and buy them off of you too. I would even be willing to come down and help you pull the parts. (I live in Frisco)

I'd buy : fender strakes, appearence package, spolier, if your car had any of those on it. i live in north dallas. pay cash, and i would drive to wherever you are at to get it.

Nope, the salvage fee was around $7k so unless anyone wants the 'remains' for more than that, I won't be salvaging it.
