My check engine light came on today......talked to dealership and they said if it stays on for a couple of days, it could be any of 310 codes. Does anyone have any comments on the latest reflash (M) of the PCM??? Or anyone else have any suggestions or comments on this?? Also, anyone have this happen after a few weeks with a K&N intake installed?

 

I know one of the biggest issues with the check engine light has been that it includes emissions leaks. That sounds important but that also includes a gas cap that is not secure. i had this happen. I verifed that the cap was on good. Went several days and through about 12 restarts. The light did not clear. I took it in and they did a complete emissions scan on it and then determined it was the gas cap and cleared the error code manually. Granted this was after 2k miles. My parents had the exact same issue with their MPV. I'm not saying thats what it is, but it could be.

 

Try cleaning the Air flow sensor

 

Take it in and get it checked, and ask for the M flash while you're at it. Since you don't have the equipment to read the error codes and the car is under warrenty, just let the pros handle it.

 

Mine just turned on for the second time (1400 miles on the car).

The first time it cleared on it's own, so I didn't follow up.

This time it has an appointment, and I plan on asking for M flash at the same time.

Take it in, it's under warranty. Let them figure out which of the 310 codes it's throwing and how to fix it.

mine came on, went off by itself took it in got the flash. car seems slower, and also the light came on again...so took it in. then tey replaced the plugs cause they say it was mis firing, now today it came on again...3rd time 1000 miles...im so pissed!!! I dont know what to do.....im half way to lemon law new car....but i dont want to do that cause ive done alot to my car as it is! How annoying!
