i went to yahoo.com and i typed MAZDA RX-9 on the search bar and i got this link saying that there is an rx-9 that the public never saw. go to yahoo.com and search for MAZDA rx-9 and u should see the link.

holy frig, now that's probably just a really false rumour, but an RX-9 to compete with the NSX??? sounds more like an RX-7 to me... well, okay, i don't ever see a 400hp RX-7 being something Mazda would want to make for the street, but still... hmmmmmmmmm...

That was posted in January 2001 when we knew almost nothing about the RX-8. Most likely someone misinterped a rumor about the RX-7 or they just made it up.

ah!! so it was... well, my poor observational skills but good hunches have come through again ;)

Ignorance is bliss. It would have been nice to speculate on the possibility of a RX-9.
