I'm seeing it tonight.

I read the screenplay a couple years ago.. it was written as the entire movie through.. and they split it into two..

It was pretty much unchanged to the movie , except in that version of the script, gogo had a twin sister.

I think it was awesome.. I think it might have been better than the first.

It's more informative, and less confusing than the first. It's not quite as action packed.. not that it isnt, it's just not super-mega-action packed like v-1

HEY GUY!!!
Does it have the blood spurting out of appendages??

guy321

Not in the second one.. Not much spurting at all... if any.

I wish he'd kept GoGo Ubari's twin.. I don't usually like asian girls but she was cute.

A few scenes were different from the script I read 2 years ago.. but it was basically the same movie, pretty good. I like the Cantonese bits too.. I didn't have to read the subtitles :)

THey showed a preview for the movie Hero.. that looks AWSOME.
I wonder if I can get the chinese release.. anyone seen it yet?

Saw it and as Guy321 said, less action but great story! Quentin Tarantino is amazing behind the camera and I love the scene transitions they did in both the movies especially this one! As yup I can't wait for 'Hero', it maybe another 'Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger', but regardless Tarantino directs it and Jet Li is in it.

Tarantino didnt actually direct "Hero" to my understanding. THis movie has been around since 2002. It was release in HK in 2003, but has yet to be released in the US. It was made in HK, and was aquired by mirimax films. Jet Li is in it though. I'm going to bbuy the DVD.

It should be alot differnet than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.. It's a different type of story. Hero is based on actual chinese History/Legend.

Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon wasn't about the reality of the fighting scenes. Think of the movie as the fantsay-genre for Chinese culture. Shooting flames from a staff in Lord of the Rings has no physical reality. It's a fantasy.

Western culture is used to dragons and magic in fantasy. Chinese culture has swordman/woman flying through the air. Difference in cultures.

YEah, it's common in chinese movies for people to fly/jump.. and our vampires hop like bunnies, our dragons have no wings.

lol I was kidding too... but inspite of the impossible feats performed in chinese movies, I'm still mesmerised by the fantasy world and the possibility that it could happen.
