Perhaps it's covered by this TSB:

Dome Lamp Flashing and/or Clicking Sound From Rear Doors (http://www.finishlineperformance.com/rx8/docs/09-007-04.html)

i'm positive it is not the exaust,

in certain conditions you can hear it inside "both" doors

i think a thread i read very long ago said it was the seat belt coil or something like that......not sure

I observed that small rattle time to time also. It sounds like a small metal rod that got loose in the door(s). It comes and go though.

It sounds more at the cobblestone at Belgium does n't it...? I forgot the bicycle race ... ah Liège - Bastogne - Liège ! The cobblestone are deadly. You have a mega-sor-as after that race I think :)

I found the rattle on my door too - gee it is annoying.

Have you realize KARCPA?

Noise and suiside does not go well together. It is usually not a successful one if both occurs. hehe :)

A cute blond receptionist just walk pass....

oh sorry, yeah KARCPA have you looked into the noise with your dealer? I hate to think they have to take the door out to have a look.

Hey are you sure its the actual doors or the passanger seat belt.

My girlfriend was sitting in the back yesterday night and i asked her to listen to where the noise was coming from and she grabbed the seat belt as i was driving i took a few corners hard and a few bumps on the road and no noise.

I believe it was the passanger seat belt it was coming from on my car.
