Do any of you use lithium grease or some other lube on the doors, trunk latch, etc All those areas look pretty dry on my car.

just plain ol' ky jelly does the trick, and a few shots of yager always pops the ol' hood quick. when it gets dry i usually just stop for a drink of water, get the ol girl running warm again with a quick lap around the block. every once in a while I giver her a gentle rub down with some zaino, making sure i hit all the sweet spots to get engine purring - after that there aint a dry spot anywhere! she's slick, fit, and ready to rip. although the manual doesn't say so, there is a rumor that there is something i can do to get my baby8 to hit a "magic" number when we go hot and heavy, but i'm too busy satisfying my own whims so i haven't found the sweet spot yet, maybe one day. and once i slide into her cockpit, she gets me so hot and bothered i can't keep forgetting to stop and look for it. i just love making her scream.
true she does drink like a sorority girl, and she demands that i get her the best shoes i can afford, but she's hotter than anything else i've gotten myself into and its well worth the upkeep. I should probably dress her up nicer so i can take her around town more often, but hey, what can i say? i like em a little dirty...

this is not normal at all; no. wow....

I use Yamaha all purpose grease on all hinges. It's think and it works great. I have been using it for about 20 yrs.
