Select Texas enthusiasts were gathered to have a close-up look at the new RX-8 and gauge feeback.
Since the car that came to Houston was not a typical "car-show-car" everyone had to take great car when entering and exiting the car. This meant shoes off, no rings or any buckles that could snap or rip the interior. Special thanks to Mazda NAO, and especially the Mazda Gulf Coast Region for making this special appearance happen!

So how was the fit in the back? How tall are you, and please give me details on that! :)

I was looking at the picture of the instrument cluster and noticed the Tach read about 1250 RPM. I can't imagine the engine was running. Broken tach?
It looked like some of the other instruments were lighted too. What's up?

*giggle*
many of the pics were taken after the car was brought down off of the turntable. the car is a full-on prototype and not a mule show car... note the 2200+ miles on the odometer too.
man, I wish I woulda been able to put a few of them on there...
