My husband is around 6 foot and we're looking at an 8. Any comments on him fitting in the car?

I'm 6'4 and I fit in it. It does require me to adjust the seat to the best spot for my height but it's a decent fit for me.

6'4" here too, I'm 31 so I'm still limber but the hardest thing to do would be getting in or out, I have no problem, but my Dad 6'2" 57 y/o seemed to labor crawling in. I have no problems with head room and I have the GT w/sunroof.

Now my friend's Miata, and another friend's M3 Roadster are a different story.

6'2" and no problems, unless I have a helmet on :D

It varies a lot by the person. I tried out sitting in 73JPS's with the moonroof, and I found for me there wasn't enough headroom.

I'm just over 6' and I don't have any problems even with the moonroof. I only have about an inch or so to spare though with the way I have my seat adjusted. The thing fits like a glove.

But I thought it was your passengers that needed the helmets :D

My co-driver is 6'5", and fits (barely) with a helmet on. My 8 does NOT have a sunroof, and when we went for a test fit (at last year's Rev-It-Up), he was not comfortable in the 8 with a sunroof, even with no helmet.

Tall drivers are not a problem, plenty of seat adjustment......

but you wouldn't want to sit BEHIND one, if you get my drift.

I am intrigued by the range of resonses: 6' 5" folks with no complaints, and 6' 2 folks who find it a bit tight for headroom.

It seems from what I have read here that most people over 6' (who are not NBA stars) aren't really having too much trouble, but the level of comfort is probably most dependent on where you have your height (Jasper must be a short-legged long torsoed type :D ), and how reclined you like your driving position (perhaps dependent on how long your arms are?)

I am one of those short-legged long-torsoed folks, but I'm only 5'11" on a good day, so the fact that I find plenty of room (even in the back) of this car may not be too relevent. I will say this though: getting in andf out of the drivers seat of this car is easy and sweet because that front door opens sooooo wide.

I find it really depends on how you sit in the car.

If you sit further ahead (like you're supposed to)
with the seat back in an upright position (and not
reclined far back) then you will feel that the car
is too small. If you sit leaned way back then
you won't find headroom to be a problem.

I'd still want a helmet if Jasper was driving though :) :) :)

Gee, you wouldn't think a guy who'd just written off a Spec V would have much to say about other people's driving... :D

Well :-P to you too :)

And the loss of the sentra got me into an rx8, so one could almost think it was a GOOD thing :)

I'm 6'3, and have the moonroof...and have loads of room. My co-worker is 6'9 (!) and rides shotgun at lunch hour from time to time in complete comfort.

Having said this, I won't recommend the back seat to anyone in the 6 foot club.
