Hmmmmmmmm... let me see...

2000 miles... at 50 miles per hour average... don't think I can make it

Man, I have to tell you: I honestly wish I could be there (I have Friday off...)... but I just don't think it would be practical...

Those are fabulous pics though... and of a beautiful part of our country with a gorgeous automobile...

Cheers, and congratulations on the beautiful pictures!

P.S. How about you give us lots of warning and we set up an honest to goodness group pic with as many people as possible from across the country??? I AM IN!!!!!!! (Sorry Eastern guys (of which I am one): Western Canada seems to have the best scenery )

Hey, we've got some pretty sweet scenery out here, in the real East .
I'd love to drive out to B.C. for a meet, but that's a heck of a long drive...let's see, according to mapquest, it'd be 3868.89 miles to Vancouver, taking 65 hours, 17 minutes. Each way.
But then, I did drive up to Toronto for wings last year... :D

73JPS - I won't argue about the beautiful scenery in the mountains, but are you talking about Ontario when you talk about scenery in the East??? If so, I can sympathize with your pessimism about the quality of the natural beauty in the "east".

As Jasper says, you need to come to the "real" east. Ontario would be "central" by my estimation. Check out the scenery in the highlands of Cape Breton, NS or the cliffs at Middle Cove, NF before you write off the east .... Although, I suppose for someone in CENTRAL Canada, 2600mi to BC, 1800mi to St. John's is not really that big a difference.

Yes, that's highway 99. It gets even better if you go past Pemberton up on the Duffey lake road. That's where this one was taken
<- (Seton Lake) . We could do BC in spring or summer, the prairies in early fall (yellow fields with hay bales), then Ontario and east when the leaves turn. If brave, Alberta in the winter - nice contrast between cars and white!

It's a road trip!
