Link to the "L" TSB, so I can show to my dealer?

I appreciate it guys.

Also, if I give them the "Well I flooded it" comment, do you think they'd indulge and reflash me without a headache? I am not sure my dealer will do it without actually having a problem, so what's the best way to go about getting the reflash? I get pretty crappy mileage, so anything is an improvement.

Here is the TSB that list the "L" flash as a remedy. The "L" is also loosly mentioned in in another one (Icant remember which.


My car is at the dealer as I write this for a CEL and recalls. I never mentioned word one about the "L" flash......because my service writer undoubtably would have no idea what I'm talking about. I just made sure that "hard starting" and occasional flashing CEL was mentioned. My car had a steady one when I brought it in. (it may have been my gas cap...oops )

thets see how they handle it.......

Dumb question # 2462:

Is there a VIN start number when/if Mazda included the L-flash in the car as delivered? I have seen a few postings that mention something like that but would like a definative answer.
