I really love this forum but all you guys and girls are starting to cost me too much $$$$ Unfortunatley my business is so competative (TV and video editing) that I don't have huge amounts of cash to throw around- and I always need the latest video and computer gear just to get the work.

First I had to jump on the Canzoomer stage 1 before I even had my (replacement) 8, since I thought the price was jumping to $750 and wanted it for $500.

Then it was 3M clearguard on the front and rear when the 8 was only 2 days old.

Zaino order was good for another $60 or so out the window.

This week was clear corners and strakes from ebay for $210 (it made a huge but subtle improvement in appearance and was so much fun to install thanks to the DIY's here)

Now I'm thinking about rotary accents, MS sideskirts with a stock front air dam (that's way too much $$$) and of course upgrading to Canzoomer Stage 2 is only about $700 more. I also love that Caddilac CTS grill material if anyone ever find it for order, and I guess I should have a Bel RX65 (or even better the built in remote RX75) radar detecter and a laser jammer to boot!

I need to make money just to keep my 8 from feeling deprived!!!!

Will I ever stop wanting to upgrade this vehicle?

- Also how do I get in touvh with a member who doen't check thier PM's? He has the whole MS kit and is here in NYC and I'm dying to see it installed.

Skip the accents, do the silver paint. It looks great imo!

Here (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12722&highlight=rotary+accent) is a link.

You think that you got it bad? I sell the stuff you use for your work. We have gone in the past 10 years from selling $120,000 systems to selling $4500 systems.

Profits just arent the same anymore, and I really need more cash!

Speed- I was thinking o ftrying to paint on accents- maybe I'll give it a try.

Genom- I know exactly what you mean- the lower tech has driven down editirs rates as well. BTW I own a Cinewave Final Cut system with the High def option and 1.2 terabytes of scsi storage. I started with a firewire based FCP system- but needed to get bigger and better paying clients. Still hard though but at least I am competeing withe AVid ds HD system that cost what, 150 grand?

Mine came with the car, but if I'd known how good the painted-on job looked, I would have saved the $.

Props to Greg for the idea! I'm gonna paint the mesh like that too, and maybe the vents.
