Got my 8!

I went and got my RX-8 tonight, I was very pleased with the way it drove... the one thing on my mind is the CEL.... it came on for some reason, but everything seemed to be running OK, I guess I'll have to drop by the dealership tomorrow and ask them to look at it. Other than that, I love everything about the car.

Edit: BTW... add me to the Winning Blue club

this not the first post to mention the CEL light coming on the drive home...that has to suck. Your nervous enough after you make such a big purchase and then the CEL light comes on. My low tire pressure gauge came on the night I drove mine home that was an easy fix and I am sure yours will be to.

Yeah hopefully its not something major.... but whatever it is I'm sure the dealership will handle it, since they were super nice through the deal and I've had the car in my hands for less then 48 hours.

My tire pressure light came on during my first drive home (in the rain at night) also. But I must make one correction flatso...it is not a LOW pressure light as my the dealer had neglected to reduce the high pressure air the tires were filled with during shipping (45 PSI). The light pops on when the air pressure is out of a set range - low or high.

But you knew this....

SSsSSsSSssSsSssssssss...flopflopflop

Darn!

Cool. Here's hoping the rest of the driving experience is much better!
