Seems there's some confusion over this color. The Titanium Grey on the Mazda 6 is not the same as on the RX-8.

I found a picture from the Detroit venue that shows the number Mazda uses:

http://images.rotarynews.com/images/Detroit2003_2/mvc01504.jpg

Apparently the number is 25G. Someone mentioned that the number for the Titanium Grey Mazda 6 was 26x.

(Notice that I just assume it's the color number that's written in the description!) :D

There was a color sample for every color just like this that showed which cars are available in that color -- as all can see only the RX-8 comes in Titanium Grey Metallic.

What is the paint code for the titanium SE miata? Someone on the
board said its the same. Or is the SE color darker?

Someone seems to think that the RX-8 color is the same as regular titanium. They should look at the codes...

Since the Miata is no longer available, the earlier comment that the RX-8 is the only vehicle currently available in Titanium is correct. (In the US market anyway.)

I finally got the answer from Mazda.

Hello Anthony,

Thank you for contacting Mazda North American Operations. I appreciate
the opportunity to respond to you.

The Titanium Gray on the RX-8 will be very similar with the Titanium
Gray on the Miata SE model. The only difference is the metallic sheen
may have a slight variation. The Steel Gray Metallic on the MAZDA6 is
much darker gray and perhaps with less metallic. Also, the color code
for the RX-8 Titanium Gray is 29Y.

Hopefully, you have enough information to finish your pre-order. Please
let me know if you need any other information.

Is it true what he said about the color being the same as the 2002 Miata SE and being lighter than the Mazda 6 Steel Gray?

I just ordered Tit Grey because of the info he gave me.
