I was thinking about this today... pick one

(im sure this forum will be a little biased but an interesting thouhgt.)

1. a loaded RX8 about 31K

2. Subaru WRX with about 6G's in mods about 31K

I was thinking a wrx with some cosmetic mods would make it much nicer looking plus adding some turbo accessories could push it to 280 hp easily. But on the flip side ive always wanted to try a rotary.

What you think?

i'd still go with the rx-8.

personally, i just CANNOT get over the look of the WRX. i don't even think $6000 worth of purely cosmetic mods will mask that.

i really don't need much more performance than the 8 has (i don't plan on rallying either) and imo is a beautiful car. i can't wait to drive a rotary (the 8 will be my first!)

The WRX is a nice car. However the interior looks too plain for a car with that price.

I like the 8, that's why I'm here, but that is a tempting offer. The WRX sprints to 60 in 5.4 stock. I can only imagine that for 6 grand, you could easily make that around 4.6 or so. I think I might just take the WRX in this case, though it is definately a tough call. I'm not a real big fan of boost, but again, that's tempting.

I've always liked Subarus, and the WRX is still a very cool car, but I love Mazdas and I think the RX-8 is a better looking car, overall. It's just more elegant, while the WRX looks like it wants to be out racing around in the mud (I mean that in a good, rally car kind of way, of course :) ).

Just to be different, and because I have a WRX, I'll go the WRX.

Howabout I sell this to you for $35K and we call it even?
