I've heard a lot of people mentioning Mazda making a MazdaSpeed RX-8. Now, I've seen pictures of the Japanese MS RX-8 but that will probably change quite extensively before coming to the states. So, I did a pic of what it might look like if produced for the USDM. This is just an interpretation but I had some guidlines.

First, I looked at the MazdaSpeed Protege and MP3 to get some ideas. Then I used traditional styling from the RX series. I personally like the was it looks and, if they make one like it, I'll definately get it! :D

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. Being the perfectionist I am, I did one more with minor modifications on the front bumper and small reflections. I am 99% happy with this one and the 1% isn't worth stressing over.

So, like I "said" before, this one is the final version. Except this time, I mean it.

By the way, if anyone has a request let me know and I will work on it.

I will try to do one in a blue. MazdaSpeed actually has an orange color just like that so that's why I used it. I just didn't want that yellow anymore :D

When I first saw the RX8, my immediate reaction was to hate the front. So, how about this.

Can we see what it would look like with a pointier front? Similar to the RX7's or early 90's MR2's? Maybe slide the headlights down a bit?

If you're bored, I'd love to see this, perhaps in a silver.

Sorry I haven't gotten to all of the requests yet. I will do them as soon as things slow down here at the home front.

Applejax's request for a pointier front is possible. The head lights would be something that you couldn't move on the real car. I'm trying to keep it as realistic as I can. So, I'm pretty much just changing the front bumper and adding on accessories. I can, however, put some lids on the headlights to make them thinner. I'll mess with it and see what I can come up with.

Want to bet on whose engine needs new rings or goes in for unscheduled service first?? Don't forget to dump more oil in that thing every week....Don't worry, I'll give you the finger next time I pass you at the gas pump.

You might want to look into the dependability of that little Suzuki ride you got yourself there and the history of repairs it's engine and drive train have. They make mods for that thing?? Do they make a larger rubber band or something to that effect? Perhaps maybe you have to lean into a curve to keep from rolling it over on a sharp corner.

As far as giving me the finger when you pass me at a gas station...don't worry, I'll know it's you because the sight of that ugly little Aerio and your pathetic little lap dog begging to be rescued hanging out the window will give you away. I don't know where you've read that Suzuki's are trouble prone, I've certainly never experienced it. Besides my 7 year 100Kmi warranty is there for me.
Please don't insinuate that I couldn't afford an RX-8 if I wanted to. I think the Lotus Elise is a far better choice anyway, for a few grand more it's faster, handles better, is convertible and gets 30+MPG.

Windahdah is exactly the type of forum member that makes these kinds of sights unbearable to visit. I love this sight due to it's educational nature, and the fact that everyone here is very supportive of each other. I have learned so much about my car just from reading posts here. Forums like this are hard to find. There is no room for ingorant, immature ramblings like his. Hopefully we will not have to endure any more of this.

the r3 is the closest to a mazdaspeed rx8 as we're going to get. the rx9 is the only thing we can look forward to as far as stock power goes imo.
