Though it's not new news that Subaru will have a turbo flat 4 version of every car in it's lineup a la WRX, but there's an addition to this info. I read in one of the car magazines recently in a spy shot article that Subaru has been seen testing a 350HP flat 6 in a Legacy wagon.

That would really kick @ss, though I think it will be very expensive. I would guess close to 40K if not more, based on the current only flat 6 in the Suby lineup cost in the low to mid 30's already. Add turbos, intercooler, beefier tranny, suspension and brakes, and other go fast goodies, I could easily see the price jump 5-10K.

Let me know what you guys have heard through the grapevine.

Sounds interesting none the less and will be interesting to see what Subaru does if it actually does hit the market, because then their flagship sports car will be greatly underpowered (but should have better handling).
