after almost 5 months, I took it out. Finished its hibernation, Battery was dead, so I boosted it with my odyssey, and it started right up , just like it never slept at all.

Only thing is a slight rumble in the steering, it didn't have that when I put it in there, I moved my car every 3 or 4 weeks for the tire not to get a flat spot, but I don't know, the rumble seemed to be less evident after my brisk 80 km ride ( at 170 km/h ) :))) felt good after driving a focus all winter....

Well just sharing...

P/S did you know that when the battery drops dead and you drive around with after a boost, the dsc and that other are deactivated by the car had the dsc flashing and the skidding car light up .. about half way in the ride the dsc light closed, but not the skidding car.. So must be to preserve battery power ..

Actually that is what the car does any time you disconnec the battery. To reset the system: start the car, turn the wheel all the way the the right, then turn the wheel all the way to the left, then center the wheel. Then turn the car off and restart it. Everything should then be fine.

really , cool thing to know, but isn't starting and closing and restarting bad for that engine?

Hey, that procedure sounds like a recipe for an engine flooding (am I getting brainwashed by the flood threads?)

I guess the prudent action would be to go for a drive, before restarting the car?

Yeah, you'd want to let the car warm up for at least 5 minutes first.

Read the manual... the procedure is there.
IIRC you don't have to shut the car down after you turn the wheels one way and then the other to reset the electric steering assist.
