Apparently, Mazda has confirmed that they will produce a high power 8 a year after the RX-8 is released. Up to 200kW, N/A. This means that the engine revs harder, or that the rotary is larger. I hope that it looks like the Mazdaspeed version!:D :D :D

Could this have anything to do with what the guys I talked to at the St. Louis Auto Show said?
-It's in a diff. thread if anyone is wondering.

What thread?
The one w/ St. Louis Auto Show in the subject.
Basically some mazda guys told me Mazda could get 310-315 HP out of the Renesis NA. Also that the Mazdaspeed Version will get a supercharger and make much more HP than that.(And that would be cool if you ask me).
Also, that a new rx7 may be on the way, and they are sharing the rx8 platform with the next miata.
But if they could get 310-315 HP out of the renesis NA howcome the RX8 is only rated at 250? -They fed me some line about a well balanced car and handling and stuff.
What do you think?
