Sputnik?? someone reported to us from one of the shows that there is a lot of padding on the inside of the rear door where it will contact the front in the (very likely event) that the rear door should be closed upon the front... of course, it won't close, but they thought about it and took some amount of measure to protect against really severe damage. :) Puppy1 01-31-2003, 04:19 PM Originally posted by wakeech wait, who was it?? m477 (sorry, i dunno your real name)?? dan?? bern?? I witnessed someone trying to slam the rear door at the L.A. autoshow completely unaware that the front door needed to be open. The rear door padding hit the fornt door metal and bounced back. The front door can't latch without the back door closed, so the front door wasn't really completely closed. Quick_lude 01-31-2003, 04:33 PM You'd think that Mazda could have installed a sensor or two with a stopping mechanism or a high pitch audible warning system. :) Fëakhelek 01-31-2003, 06:13 PM No, that would add weight! I'm gonna tell Buger on you! :D wakeech 01-31-2003, 06:47 PM Originally posted by Puppy1 That was Puppy1. :o :o :o!! my most sincere apologies Puppy... my goodness, my memory fails me... :( well, i won't forget again. :D thanks. :D |
