Do you think that smoking weed and molesting children are on the same level of criminal activity. I mean if you are smoking weed, realistically you are only hurting yourself, molesting children however is a crime commited by the mentally disturbed that destroys childrens lives. You might argue weed smoking does the same, if so, one chooses to do it to themselves. Marijuanna is a crime due to some arbitrary law. Child molestation are there to protect innocent children.

Agreed. Comparing the two is a bit extreme. Smoking weed is the least of my worries and would not bother me if it were legal.

When you break the law, you break the law. As far as names go, I think that is a moderator's/webmaster's call. Of course, if we are hoping to be a bit above other forums (the foul language, suggestive statements/names, etc) I would hope that someone monitors around here.

Perhaps Noah needs to take a toke or two...but wait, maybe he's in law enforcement. Besides, the name of the member in question in not going to convince me to take up that habit or should I say go back to that habit. It's been many moons ago...at least I still have my short term memory, I think. So, what were we discussing here? And, who is that Noah guy, anyway? Smoke Weed??? I doubt noah is in law enforcement or he wouldn't care less about marijuana... unless of course he was working for the ATF. Most beat cops couldn't care less about a little toke here and there. They tend to focus more on the big time growers who stockpile firearms near elementary schools to protect their business. Well this has been my experience anyway.

And no it isn't in line with having sex with children or rape. It is inline with going 5 or 10 mph over the speed limit. That is why smoking marijuana is a misdemeanor in most states. I think the fine was like $60 in Oregon.

After all isn't gay marriage still illegal in most states? If so should we discuss that here? How about if I changed my name to "gayest marriage ever"? Would that offend?

I am married and my wife isn't a "he" by the way so no hate crimes or gay bashing are necessary but I do think that having his name as Smoke Weed isn't harming anyone and is just making a simple statement. Noah we know where you stand on this issue and I'm glad that you are a person of principles but I think it may be legal in his area to smoke weed. I might be wrong but it is only a matter of time in Canada.

my rx-8 likes me. i treat her nicely, i warm her engine up every time i start her up, i'm easy on the clutch, i don't abuse her body, and i usually let her engine breathe once in a while, and she rewards me with a beep. she also likes smoking with me. it builds our relationship. we're smoking buddies, and we have fun going out together after a session. i'm extra careful with her of course.

Closing. There are a lot of names on here I don't like, but I can't ban them just for that. We don't need to bring up other member's names and hate on them just because we don't like them, even if they are trolls.
