Can someone who has a black 8 with only the rear quarter windows and rear windshield tinted post a side-view, or rear-side angle view? I'm probably going to go with a 35, but a pic of anything between 50 to 5 would give me a good idea of what it would look like.

I live in California and don't feel like flaunting the tinting rules here. I am a little worried though that the black won't look as good with the front windows untinted.

Nice pics - I actually think I've seen them before.

I've also seen pics of black 8s with tint, but what I'm really interested in is a black with tint only on the rear windows and rear windshield. I want to make sure it doesn't look weird with the front windows left untinted.

Anyone?

Here's my black RX8 will 30 on the sides and 15 on the rear.

speak for yourself...in Illinois it's illiegal to get front windows tinted so i have only my back three windows tinted to 35%...i guess it isn't so "weird" when everyone else around you has them tinted this way

Yeah I think I've seen your pics before too. That looks soooo freakin sweet - I wish I could do the same with mine. Then again, I wish I had mine!! Unexplainable repeated delays, argh - another subject.

I know I'm going to get it tinted, and I'm hoping it will look ok. If not, I might take the chance of tinting the front.

Im in IL as well, You prob could have gotten away with having the windows tinted. I had "limo" in the rear and 35 or 55 (i forget) in the front. My cars been vandalized a couple times, neighbors a cop, and have been in a couple accidents and no one has ticketed me for the front windows. ....thank god none of this has happend on a 8. Maybe this is why im so reluctant to get one.....
