does it strip waxes? I remember some gas station windshield cleaner got onto my door and the wax came right off! Does our windshield washer fluid do the same?? any "wax friendly" fluids out there?

I use distilled water and just a few drops of "squeegee soap" for wetting action. No freeze protection though.
