I would like to see section for aerodynamics. i know it would be a small section compared to other topics. But the only other section is exterior appearance / body kits. Those mods could actually hurt or decrease your aerodynamics. i would like to see FUNCTIONAL parts like splitters, diffusers , flat underbody panels and other related topics.

So just a raw theory discussion?
I'm only aware of one people on here that has actually has done quantifiable aerodynamic testing.

so just start a thread about diffusers, splitters etc

Zoom's suggestion seems more than sufficient... make it like the "exhausts" threads or something. Just have the first post be a list of parts that have been shown to be functional and useful links. The rest of the thread can be discussion on the matter.

ya some short threads on aero. or links and advice to articles to help explain aerodynamic principals. even some "how tos" or "what to do" and "what not to dos"
for example if some one made a splitter for racing they can include some useful mounting points or point out some of the trouble they had to help let others learn.
i bring up this topic because i was looking to do some aero work on my car. i would like to make a functional splitter and diffuser when i have a little more free time. i do a few track days a year and i also like working on my car. so this project will benefit me in 2 ways. :)

you make it sound like you would know the difference. Do you own a wind tunnel or something? :squint: Maybe you should read the "aggressive wheel" thread first. Then you will realize that for most of the people here it is all about perception, not reality.
