My music video for the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players just premiered on Subterranean on MTV2. I'll post when it's airing again or see it now on the web)

We need your help getting it played again.

I'm asking people to email MTV asking to see it again, or saying your heard about it and want to see it, or that you saw this great little girl drummer on Sunday night at midnight.

please send a simple email to feedback@mtv.com

Call them the Slideshow Family, or The Trachtenbergs.

Here is the link to see it on the web.

http://nova.lunarpages.com/~editvi2/MTweb15.mov

Thier site is www.slideshowplayers.com and this real family takes vintage discarded slides from the 50's through 70's and write songs about them.

Thanks in advance- this could really help my friends and I (the Family) to make careers at this.

CORRECTION- it;s feedback@mtv.com
- the comments email bounced back

I also just got word it's playing on Muchmusic in Canada. I could really use some positive emails to feedback@mtv.com

more video jobs=more rx8 mods (and food, rent, etc)

We have been trying to get on Fuse as well. Any help would be "much" appreciated.

They performed on Conan O'brien last year, which was a great experience (i got to meet Max Weinberg- a big thrill and I introduced him to Rachel (the 9 year old drummer) I think he was shocked when he heard her play. We are trying to get them on some more TV shows this year.

Astor- you mean you work for Monterray?

That was different- very original... and a catchy tune. The kid is a pretty good drummer (you should hear my 10yo butcher a violin :).

Email has been sent... good luck.

I have no idea who the girl is, but apparently she has even less idea where it should be applied than most guys! :D

I'd like to help, but being that music is my career, I cannot email MTV and lie by saying I'd want to see that again. You should be thankful you got it played once, and I think you already succeeded. MTV2 is good that way in playing videos like this. Just one airplay is more then you could ask for, and if it's really that good, people will call and email for real, and let them know. Best of luck to ya!!

Well I'll be damned. That actual use of that thing is far more disturbing than what Jon was proposing it was. I need to put that video out of my mind :)
