Tamas 03-08-2004, 02:48 AM Take a look at his signature where he says 'Click for Pics' :D
fietguy 03-08-2004, 03:04 AM ok, ill give you some help,
i personally, imho think the lines of the 8 are not as pronounced in the black...
really, i think in the black, the car looks like any other japanese sports car....
mrtux 03-08-2004, 04:12 AM you finally got that license plate up! is that a photoshopped plate or did you choose all those 69s? lol
OBryanRX8 03-08-2004, 09:02 AM good looking pick voodoo
Nice pic...the Quixote thing is great...just don't go charging it!!!
that is a great shot.
what kind of camera did you take that with? Whatever it was, you can see a lot of really good detail.
NAVILESRX8 03-08-2004, 11:04 AM Very nice, you always seem to take great pictures Voodoo.....
Hey, Black isn't bad either.

what about that MS dark midnight type of blue? i believe they did such a color on the 3rd gen rx7 why not on the 8s?
Mcfester 03-08-2004, 03:19 PM Not sure about a Dark Midnight blue. The winning blue in my opinion is as close to perfect as you're likely to get.
cruzdreamer 03-08-2004, 03:46 PM As always.... a superb pic brothervoodoo...... am always hoping you will post more!!!
WHealy 03-08-2004, 06:35 PM brothervoodoo,

mikeb 03-08-2004, 06:45 PM very nice
I hate waxing also
willhave8 03-08-2004, 06:52 PM BVdoo - Great shot. It kills me that I have the same car and camera and can't come close to what you create. Keep it up. I like to rotate my desktop with your pictures. They draw a lot of comments from work colleagues who want to know how I have had time to drive from PA to California since late January...

D MENAC 7 03-08-2004, 06:57 PM Veeeerrryyy Nice, BrotherVoodoo! Wish I lived where I could get some nice shots but here in the middle of no where, it's still gray and dead! Give me a couple of months and it will blossom out nicely.
English 03-08-2004, 07:12 PM Don Quixote and his trusty pal, Rocinante. What a team!
brothervoodoo 03-08-2004, 10:45 PM Thanks all for the compliments. MrTux & rx8fosho sorry the license plate is in fact a photoshop, my real plate number is not quite as interesting..... Ajax, I'm using a Canon S40 4 mega pixel camera for the shots.Originally posted by willhave8

Craig Thanks Willhave8, I was thinking this over and some of my shots obviously have a little photoshop magic added to them. Some color correction, cropping and filters makes a big difference in the presentation.
Here's some examples of a couple pics I've done post work on:
In this example, I cropped the pic and brought out the red in the sky and highlights in the wheels and nose.

I've done a lot of filter manipulation on this pic as well as remove some distracting signs.

More color in the trees and grass, accented the windmill with more detailed color and removed that light post growing out of my trunk lid!

EstonRX 03-09-2004, 12:20 AM Hope to run into you in one of the local gatherings some time soon BV.
I goofed around with a camera and photoshop a bit a long time ago, now I finally have a reason to get back into it.
No photoshopping on this one (can't count a crop really), but it was such a pleasant day and the first car I've ever waxed or polished.

I think I've only gotten two or three pictures so far that makes my Nordic Green look green :p
RX-GR8 03-09-2004, 12:31 AM very nice. i thought it was black but who cares. great shot.
brothervoodoo 03-09-2004, 12:52 AM That's a nice shot! I know a couple of folks who have green and it takes bright conditions for the color to show through in a picture.

That's some powerful photoshop voodoo! I downloaded the pic and really can't notice any discontinuity even knowing it's there and under magnification. As Ben Stein would say "I bow to your Buddha nature".

You've got to be kidding me - name one. I think in any color, the 8 looks like no other sports car. The titanium grey simply evokes a different sense of the car than the black. Yes, the black is a little more understated in some senses, yet still makes a pretty bold impression, just in a more serious and less obvious way. I like the grey and the black personally, but went with the black because it just fits me better in that sort of unspoken way.
Awesome pics brothervoodoo - maybe I'll see the real thing some day at an SF meet.
Need For Speed 03-09-2004, 06:14 AM Very good joob, you are very good doing pics,
I like the quijote pic.
Overport 03-11-2004, 10:07 AM That looks great..very shiny:D is that in Solvang?
Oranje 03-11-2004, 11:44 AM Nice pics as always BV! -- Oranje
ender_okc 03-11-2004, 08:00 PM that pic makes it look like a toy car :) very cool though!!!!
memrie 03-11-2004, 09:21 PM Im debating between black and ? I'm not a "red" person, or a "yellow" one at that, to exotic for me. I like black the best, yet I agree that it doesnt show off the curves as well... in pictures, but when I see one in person (aka dealer lot) it looks beautiful, and I can see all the curves, grr baby.
