RX-8 wins first ever Street Tire Class at National Tour

Hey there,
It's been a while since I've posted anything here. Still running my C-Stock 2009 RX-8 with street tires. Got a win at the Nashville National Tour, totally psyched. Here is some in-car footage.

Last time I checked STX is a street tire class

Just giving you a hard time, I was working course while you ran, you were looking good out there!

Congratulations but I'm confused.

Was this just a local provisional thing for a "tire" class like we'd see at a normal local event or has there been a rule change I missed?

There is a proposal out to add PAX-based street tire competition classes (S/SP/P/SM/M class cars running on street tires) for Nationals similar to what a number of regions are doing

The current thinking is to possibly separate them into three distinct classings; FWD, RWD, and AWD

I've been running the same class in my local club. What tires were you running and what kind of pressures?

Dunlop Star Specs. Pressures are course and temp dependant, but this range generally suits my setup and driving style: 34-36F, 26-30R. Will be different for other drivers and other setups (alignment, shock settings, etc)
