Ethically, I don't have a problem with implants. I mean, we shave different body parts, wear clothes, use deodorant, and do all sorts of other crazy stuff to be socially acceptable. Heck, in a way implants are great... one procedure and then you don't have to do anything for maintenance. Sure wish they had something similar for facial hair (shaving and/or trimming a beard is such a tedious waste of time).

On the other hand, I think it's absurd to think that most guys prefer any simple body type. Ask a dozen guys to name the five hottest women on TV, and I guarantee that no two lists will be identical. So while I don't think getting implants is wrong, I do think it's stupid. I think she'd be better off going after the guys that don't think she needs them - I'm sure there's plenty.

i dont know how much msrp is but the auctio nsaid you have the right to buy on at msrp so im assuming that will be the price, i cant wait.

I agree with Family guy. While the recent trend of "cosmetic upgrades" disturbes me, really it's only a natural step in the constant chase to "stay young". Nobody likes to get old, and since plastic surgery has become available and cheaper, people are doing it. I myself have a couple of annoying and useless body parts that I wouldn't mind seeing gone, but it's not a big priority for me. Humans have always used makeup, hair products, etc to change/improve appearance.. this is just a progression of that. Guys getting hair weaves/transplants. I admit if I start losing my hair and the procedure is affordable I might do it. :D

While I most assuredly have nothing against implants, I find the cyber-begging thing really pathetic, particularly when the person in question tries to justify it with asinine statements about how comments from various people hurt her.

She claims not to be asking for donations, but later under the email comments area she laments that more people aren't sending her money. That kind of something for nothing crap frosts me large.

She is not being very ambitious with size if she wants donations. I can see a C cup anywhere. If she wants to get donations, she should be willing to go EE or FF. (Are those above DD?) That would be worth paying to see, something incrediby huge. If she wants boobs, let's give her some really big ones and a jogging suit to go with them.

I'd try to talk her out of it. As others have said:
1. It's ridiculous to base that much of your self respect on how you look.
2. They don't look real. If you know what to look for, it's extremely easy to tell if they're fake.

But if she had her heart set on it... I'd make a deal.

True, true. From what I've heard, the surgery costs much less than $10K for C or D cup enhancements. I guess this would only be a fair trade if she wanted $25K boobs. They'd probably be watermelon sized or something. (More comical than sexy, in my opinion.) Maybe I would be able to convince her to use the same amount of money we spent on the surgery as a down payment. That could work.

That's why I said I don't have an ethical problem with it. I don't think it's immoral, and I can definitely see why women have it done. I know most of us are very superficial when it comes to look.

But this is what bothers me about it. Let's say a woman gets implants and then one of her friends, acquaintances, or coworkers starts paying attention to her. How could she ever feel comfortable in the relationship? The whole time, she'll know for sure that he only started being nice to her after she got the implants. If I was a woman and it happened to me, I'd be really angry about it - not happy.

On the other hand, I don't think it's fair to compare breast implants to bodybuilding. The only way a woman can increase her bust size is to get fatter. There's no special foods to eat, there's no special exercises to do. If a woman wants bigger boobs without bigger hips and a bigger butt, she's got to use surgery. A guy can make his biceps bigger, his chest wider, and his legs stronger without resorting to surgery. So in that respect, bodybuilding is more 'natural' than implants. Of course, if a guy wants to be really muscular he's probably going to use lots of steroids (I honestly don't know much about it), which is worse than getting surgery.
