Why is that if I go to a resturant and spend $100 I get treated like royalty, but if I go to a car dealership to spend $31,100 I get treated like crap?...

Good point.. don't forget the crappy dealer treatment AFTER you make the purchase and have the gall to complain about the product. Honda dealers are notorious in these parts for taking the "holier than thou" attitude.. as if every Honda car is perfect and it's not the cars fault that it's breaking down.. We have a few good stories in our club..

I feel you there, m477. I'm actually worried at this point that I may have to ask for my deposit back in May and forsake getting the 8 at launch time. The dealer's lack of information regarding the pre-order and timely follow-ups on my emails and messages are really starting to make me regret I went to them. I probably would have had a better experience if I went to another dealer, even if they are another 10-15 miles away, but at this point it's too late to begin the pre-order process again.

BTW, I once spent $100 at a restaurant and got treated like crap, then the very next day, I went to a Denny's and was treated like a king! Go figure.

I think that depends more on the waiter than the reasturant.
