The Michigan State Police did its annual cop-car shootout last month at the 10-turn, two-mile Grattan Raceway, and the preliminary results are in. It seems the Motor City still knows how to take down a perp because the Detroit Three were fully represented.
Ford brought a few models of the Police Interceptor (http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100312/carnews/100319952), based on the Taurus, and the Police Interceptor Utility, based on the Explorer. Chevrolet brought its new Caprice and Impala (http://www.autoweek.com/section/Impala&template=newcar&make=Chevrolet), both V6 and V8 versions, and a Tahoe. Dodge brought V8 and V6 Chargers (http://www.autoweek.com/section/Charger&template=newcar&make=Dodge).

I thought GM released an all new model specifically built to be a police cruiser that won't be sold to the public? I don't see any mention of it?
