For anyone looking at these, it's an awesome deal.
I guess here's my little review in a nutshell:
I've had mine on the car for a bit now and am pleased with the performance on both the street and track. Car feels rock solid and much sportier. Plus you can go as low as you want or stay at stock height, the adjustability is awesome.

^Unfortunately, I do. However, this will bump me out of C Stock, and the only other mod I have is the Agency Power 32mm solid(Sounds like I won't even be close to competitive in STX, though I'm also not really for the class I'm in now, anyway..). I haven't even had a chance to fully test that bar out on a stock car yet though. I doubt I'll need to run that beefy thing with these though. It'd definitely kiss any body roll goodbye if I did.

Is it bad though, my heart's pounding thinking about buying these? I think I will, but I kind of wanna run these last two events in C Stock... But if I bought them now, and held off on installing them, and had them sitting here beside me, it'd kill me too.

Btw, if you mention that they can be here before/on Friday, I will beat you with my sway bar.

BUY THEM!

If you want to run C-Stock so bad then just finish out the season. If not they'll just be that much more expensive when you do decide to take the plunge.

A roll is so you ti won't scrape, you roll the tiny little flat metal piece of the fencer on the bottom. Then there's a fender pull, that's when you actually pull it out

Apparently, you can go low enough to not make it out of a driveway. Gonna have to raise them in the morning to get out to go get an alignment, haha.

I believe you've gotta get the extenders. Does anyone have any pics of those installed? I can reach the knob, but not quite well enough to turn it. And what are the green ones for, and how are they installed?

And, Firestone said my car was too low to drive into their bay, haha. Gotta raise her a bit. I'll post pics tonight.

10-20-2011, 06:52 PM
i ment adjust it like height wise..lol..and yeah i got the extenders but didnt take a picture of them..lol..and i think the little green ones are like the tops of the front knobs but they dont fit with the stock bar

Oh and when you go to twist it, take all the preload off the spring so it's just sitting there. If you have tension on it, the upper height adjustment threads will spin as well so you won't get an accurate count of how many spins you did. Make sure the only thing going around is the lower set of threads. You will have to keep backing off the preload washers as well because when you shorten up the coilover they'll want to start preloading the spring as well.

When I did the fronts I backed off the ride height lock nut and the spring perch lock nut and tightened those two together and then used the wrench to turn it... if that makes sense

Rears are kind of a PITA to adjust quickly by yourself, probably wouldn't hurt to have another set of hands if your gonna do it on the car. At least my experience with the rears was a PITA but I might have been doin it wrong.

MMeglen
10-21-2011, 01:08 PM
to adjust my rears, as was posted earlier, i just loosened the bolts in the trunk and was able to slide the bottom of the coilover off the stud and turn. again, watch that the whole coilover isn't spinning when you are making ride height adjustments. it took me a second to realize waht was going on.

i have my rears setup perfectly right now, my front is a bit low. gonna finish it up today and then take a picture of what it looks like. so far, i'm very pleased with the coilovers.
