I lived in Montana when there was not a speed limit (a reasonable and prudent manner was the limit) never any problems- in fact I recall a stat that their road deaths have greatly increased since instilling a speed limit

I used to be a chef (still am- just not practicing) and in the walk-in fridges I used to find some of the most creative and crazy marijuana smoking devices made out of different kinds of food! usually that meant a fired employee, but hey I appreciate creativity!

there is a diffenence between being high and being really high (stoned), i said i drive high. i don't frequently drive really stoned. it fucks my timing on my shifts and i always find myself almost riding the lines. and the holes/dents at the roadsides work wonders for my rims. (so i guess if my motivation to not drive stoned is that it will hirt my baby, it's still good right)

Now ACID and driving, that's a bad idea.

On a funny note, I've only smoked weed a handful of times. It makes me feel sick so I gave up trying to enjoy it. The one time I tried to drive while a little stoned I had to go about 2 miles in a rural area, it was 2am or so and I felt like it had worn off. But then I started driving and realized maybe not, since it felt like the car was hovering and gliding alla Starwars landspeeder. I drove as slow as mollasses in January, and kept stopping at stopsigns about 50 ft. too soon. I was cracking myself up about how bad and overly careful I was driving. If I had actually seen another car that night I would have probably pulled over to the side of the road just to make sure we both had enough space...

Just curious if anyone can actually find any accident information where the driver at fault was stoned on marijuana only... I have tried and can only find cases where the driver was intoxicated on multiple drugs, which might include marijuana, or they were drinking alchohol as well. It appears that marijuana is not a major contributor to accidents on its own. But if you can find a case I would be happy to review. I need to see the actual case#, court case was processed through, and court date as well. With out all that info I can't verify it.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that I think we should all get high and go for a drive, just being the devil's advocate.

A girl in my class in college was driving while completely stoned, and wrapped her car around a tree at a high rate of speed. She and her bf were instantly killed.

This entire thread worries me a lot- I hope none of you who think it's okay to smoke weed and drive live anywhere near me. I smoked up (more than)a few times in schoool, and there is no way in hell I could have driven anywhere.

A long time ago... (when I was about 17)... I actually had a cop (I lived in a small town then), who actually said tha he could tell when I was driving stoned, and that he almost preferred to see me driving high. Why? "Because, when your stoned, you drive better. You don't f*&$ around behind the wheel. When you're high son, you watch what you're doing." This statement made me so nervous, that I never smoked and drove again.

I know that I can drive stoned, and have a few times out of necessity, but, the paranoia I feel ruins it. So, nothing beats getting stoned, jumping in the s2000, putting the top down, turning the music up, and just staring at the car. inside and out. It helps me realize how lucky I really am, to be able to enjoy such a great sports car. Can't wait to do it in the rx-8, with 7 more speakers, and back seats to smoke in. Life is good

I am no advocate of driving while under the influence I just wanted to see if the paranoia about was equal to what DuPont had in mind when they funded the production of "Reefer Madness." I certainly like this side of a jail cell and I also like my car too much to take any chances. That said, I still don't understand the need for marijuana to be a class A drug. Why is it such a big deal when alchohol and tobacco are much worse for you?

HP Sodium do best at imitating the Fall lighting which will make a flowering plant think it's getting close to the season of death and will encourage it to flower more abundantly therefore increasing flower production and out put. This would be used in conjunction with the wide spectrum of the metal halide lighting system.

One of my former hobbies was actually flower gardening since I had the equipment from the former habit.

All in all, I am a former smoker, though I never inhaled. LOL

I agree that alcohol is one of the worse drugs that effects more lives than any other drug out there be they recreational or hard. Pot will never be legalized as long as the tobacco and alcohol industries have their say and their strangle hold on the legislators. They would loose to much business.

I do not advocate using any drug but I am not a hypochrite and say that "just say no" attitude either.

So far as any accidents directly relaed to pot and being high, go back to train engineer incident of a few years back.

If I have a "smoke" I will never drive my car. Same way if I have more than 1 drink I wont drive the car either.

i care more about totalling my car than i do hurting myself. people say my priorities are out of order, but if anything ever goes wrong on the track and i spin out, have a close call, the first thing that goes through my mind is. Oh No! Fender!

you have a track close to you? If so, have you drove on it, and also, if you have drove on it, have you took other vehicles on it/??

i've taken my 8 on it and my brother's saleen mustang on it. kayuga raceway, and grand ben motor speedway are both no more than 1 hour away from me. there's a track in town but it's an oval speedway, and it blows.

and how does your 8 handle- and what about times between those two cars? are they close since the 8 should be able to make up time in the twisties? do you have a pic of your car yet??

dude, it handles so much better than the saleen, but the saleen is modded to like 300+ hp, so it kills in the straightaways. but i can take most corners at 100km/h in the 8. i get quarter mile times of like 12 secs, i get better qrtr times in the 8 than i do the saleen. anyway, gotta go make money, drive safe out there today guys.

I need to get this thing on the track as we have some good weather coming up- make your money-lots of it! :)
