Omicron 03-04-2004, 08:45 AM Very nice, Mike. But I notice your lowering springs (Eibach's as I recall) seem to have settled a bit too much in the rear. Or, is that just the pic? BTW, you need to change your avatar now too. :D mdw33333 03-04-2004, 09:02 AM Hey Mike, is there any rubbing? Cuz I'm considering the Eibachs too. Cuz I'm considering the Eibachs too. there is no rubbing the springs have settled more as time has gone by and the back does appear lower than the front they ride great/ no problems I can't take the credit on picking the wheel I saw pics of these rims on mdw3333 and Mrs. showoff car and that helped me make a choice ATL RX-8 03-04-2004, 01:11 PM Did you custom paint the calipers or upgrade them to a set that was red? mikeb 03-04-2004, 01:23 PM Originally posted by ATL RX-8 Did you custom paint the calipers or upgrade them to a set that was red? NAVILESRX8 03-08-2004, 02:27 PM I kinda like them, but if I'm gonna get any rim to replace the gorgeously simple stock 18's, I'd get some real lightweight 18 or 19's. That's just me. success07 03-08-2004, 02:40 PM Time to change the avatar, b. ATL RX-8 03-09-2004, 08:45 AM I took my car in for those 2 recalls this morning and they had these wheels for sale in front of their parts dept. When I go back this afternoon, I'll ask how much they are selling them for. I imagine they'll be pretty expensive coming right from the dealer. XeRo 03-09-2004, 10:33 AM which dealership? i wanna run by and check them out also...i'll be up in Suwanee today and tomorrow...dealers also get an unbelievable discount on wheels...of course they mark them up 2-300% also... How is the ride compared to the stock set up? Do you notice anything different because of the taller setup? Bill mikeb 03-09-2004, 07:19 PM the ride seems to be similar to stock no drastic change ATL RX-8 03-09-2004, 07:46 PM My parts dept/tire guy quoted me $245 each for 17". He didn't look up 18" or 19" though, but I would imagine a little bit more. mdw33333 03-09-2004, 08:22 PM Originally posted by ATL RX-8 My parts dept/tire guy quoted me $245 each for 17". He didn't look up 18" or 19" though, but I would imagine a little bit more. At $245 per wheel for 17", he's wacking you in the head. Damn dude, I'll sell them to you in 19" for that. mdw33333 03-09-2004, 08:25 PM Originally posted by maxrx8 Sweeeet! How is the ride compared to the stock set up? Do you notice anything different because of the taller setup? Bill The package Mike and I have is no "taller" than stock height. Just a little more wheel and a little less tire (sidewall), that's all. Like Mike said, the ride is barely different. SDFLY 03-11-2004, 03:18 PM As I said earlier, I love them and plan to be a type yellow rep by this summer....as for those Eibachs, car looks "right" from your latest side view and Eibachs will be on my order form as well.
