I was able to route some Rockford Fosgate Riot wire through the white plastic connector that leads from the passenger door into the car cabin.

For the driver side connector, however, I'm not able to find an opening in the white connector that will accommodate the speaker wire.

Has anyone successfully threaded a new wire through the driver side channel?

If I had a right angle drill that could work in a tight space, drilling a hole through the connector, but somehow I think that install shops have a better solution...)

Depending on the space and the angle, you might be able to drill such a hole... there are power drills (hand tools) that use a flexible drive so you can drill a hole in such tight locations.

Tamas: thank you for the suggestion--I'll look into flexible drills (maybe Home Depot will have something...)

I've posted a picture of the connector at the Driver side door. There is only about a 1 1/2" clearance to work in--very awkward!

Oh yeah, the 8 guage green wire shown in the picture is what I use to pull the Rockford speaker wire back through the harness, so that needs to get fed through the connector...

I popped out the connector and cut the channel tab with a utility knife, then routed the green feed-wire:)
